JACK THISTLEDOWN RACINO UNVEILS EXCITING NEW FOOD HALL DINING CONCEPT

OneKitchen food hall and The Bakery bring together an exciting array of unique menus all in one vibrant location
August 29, 2024 (CLEVELAND)— JACK Thistledown Racino announces the opening of OneKitchen this Friday, August 30. The innovative new food hall blends a sleek design with diverse and locally inspired menus in the convenience of a single location.
Drawing inspiration from traditional food halls’ unique and creative offerings, JACK Thistledown Racino’s Director of Food and Beverage, Derek Ivancic, has crafted custom menus that highlight quality ingredients and local flavors in a meticulously designed space. OneKitchen captures the essence of an urban food market using a mix of texture and playful patterns with dark woods, hand-crafted tiles, and custom handblown glass light fixtures.
“We’re thrilled to introduce OneKitchen, a culinary destination that elevates the dining experience for our guests,” said Chris Volle, General Manager of JACK Thistledown Racino. “OneKitchen combines diverse, high-quality dishes with a stylish atmosphere, offering something for every palate. It’s a perfect addition to JACK Thistledown Racino, and we can’t wait for our guests to enjoy all it has to offer.”
Unlike typical food halls, the dishes are prepared in a single kitchen, allowing guests to conveniently access all menu items and place orders at kiosks throughout the 3,200-square-foot food hall for a seamless dining experience. With a 106-seat dining room, OneKitchen combines the food variety of a buffet with the inviting ambiance of a sit-down restaurant. Additionally, the dining room features a window into the kitchen where diners can view the state-of-the-art FryBot in action. This fully automated robot perfectly fries French fries and chicken from start to finish.
Guests can indulge in various crave-worthy cuisines, starting with artisan personal pizzas starring a one-of-a-kind light and airy crust, customizable with their favorite toppings. They can also savor street tacos in traditional styles and original combinations known as the “Does It Taco?” menu. OneKitchen also offers chicken tenders and sandwiches served with a selection of sauces, including the signature house-made OneKitchen Sauce. Burger enthusiasts can enjoy classic steak burgers as well as specialty options like the “Glazed Over,” a double bacon cheeseburger sandwiched between two glazed donuts, and the “CLE-burger,” a double cheeseburger topped with corned beef, Cleveland Kitchen Kraut, and Swiss cheese on a pretzel bun.
Complementing these savory delights, The Bakery is a haven for those seeking a morning pick-me-up or a sweet treat. Nestled within the food hall, The Bakery serves up irresistible specialty coffee made with local Rising Star Coffee Roasters alongside scrumptious pastries and breakfast sandwiches. For the ultimate indulgence, guests can savor delectable local sweets from Malley’s Chocolates and Pierre’s Ice Cream, making it the go-to spot morning or night.
Centrally located on the racino’s gaming floor, OneKitchen will be open to the public beginning Friday, August 30. OneKitchen hours are 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. Sunday through Thursday and 11 a.m. to 12 a.m. Friday and Saturday. The Bakery will be open 8 a.m. to 10 p.m. Sunday through Thursday and 8 a.m. to 12 a.m. Friday and Saturday.
